Just got my Class A today and looking for work where I can make good $$$. I have been told that the ND oil fields are paying truckers some perrrty darn good wages.
With that does anyone know of any trucking company's that will hire those green behind the ears and out of school?
Thanks

go do your time like everyone else. and learn to drive first.
along with higher wages. also comes the cost of living. the one motel paid attention to the sign was 650 PER WEEK. but that was awhile ago,. -
exactly! go pay your dues to trucking. and pay your dues to the road. and maybe in a few years. you will beable to get a better job that gives you better pay. and allows you have a better life.

B.S. on the paying hour dues. Go out there and get the best job you can from the start.

Don't just go up there, check with power fuels in watford or mbi if they wont take rookies I wouldnt go. Scams are on craigslist watch out for tons of liars on there.try those companies get some time in and talk to others all the time. The work changes all the timeMJ1657 Thanks this.

I worded my post wrong. I should have said go out in the trucking world and get the best job you can. I agree I wouldn't head to ND as a rookie without a job.

if your not too old sounds like you make more as a laborer in the oil field than these mega trucking school companies will pay

Listen I have been up here for months and I have been driving a truck for over 5 years. I know from experience that if you are NOT up here most people won't even look at you, with maybe the exception of MBI, or Power fuels. Theres a lot of fly by night companies on craigslist just waiting to screw you so do your homework first. Don't look your with money vision! If your comin here just for the paycheck and not your safety then stay home!!
