I Woujld also send an email to the recruiter just to document it. When I came on board with Prime I had just passed a Kidney Stone, I had sent an email to my recruiter to let them know about it also. Needless to say it came up as a problem during oreintation, UNTIL i whipped out the email and said, "hey I told my recruiter and he said no problem". Needless to say they called the recruiter to verify and that was the end of the problem. Document, Document, Document is about all I can say.
Prime has many lady drivers working for them, either Solo or as part of a team, I think you will be surprised in a good way.
Good luck and have fun.

I am scheduled for orientation at the end of October and already have my cdl. I wanted to know if someone could tell me what all is involved in the pre-work assessment. I read the info about the duck walk which won't be a problem I am assuming because we did a lot of crawling under the trailers to check the king pin in school. Any info would be great, thanks!
d o g Thanks this. -
Hello, my name is Michelle. I will be heading to Springfield two weeks from today. So excited! I am a former OTR driver with about a year of experience though it has been 15 years since I was last on the road. I am currently a school bus driver and have a current class B CDL. What I am wondering is if when I go to get my permit for my class A, will I have to take the general knowledge part again or just the air brakes and combos?
Thanks! Michelled o g Thanks this. -
Should be just air brakes & combos
What state u fromd o g Thanks this. -
I am in Minnesota.
Infamousss, I tried to reply to your pm but it won't let me until I have 7 posts. But yes, I have found many helpful practice tests online. Thank youd o g Thanks this. -
For the new folks... start reading this thread at post one for a good idea of how orientation works. It's pretty much the same for everyone, except class-A CDL holders skip the permit nonsense, and you head out on the first Friday with a trainer instead of an instructor.
d o g Thanks this. -
