The government shutdown is just show. The furloughed government workers still have their job, benefits, vacation, paid days off, etc. Other American citizens won't even know it happened. Just a scare tactic used by politicians to scare the uninformed.

I wish that were true. You would think Congress would be classified as "non-essential" if anybody is but no, they are still getting paid. I think we can live without the baby panda cam for a few weeks.joseph1135 Thanks this.
