Another way is to use Mickeysoft Streets and Trips on your computer.. You can make a file and download it to the gps.
Not hard once you figure out how... takes a couple steps.
Marybullhaulerswife Thanks this. -
another option put truckstops in your favorites and choose one to to got on each leg of the trip the way you wanna go each day

you guys sure have lots of ways of making things difficult. LOL.
with copilot. we just input address. pick which route we wanna take and drive. no inputing waypoints unless we want. and deleting once we get there.
there's also a tomtom for truckers. it's $50 and is retrieved through the app called navigator. haven't had a chance to purchase so i can download and check it out yet. that'll be my weekend project. -

Ditto about the small screen (phone) apps, I couldn't use them. However a nice feature they have is viewing Google Earth of a shipper/receiver to see the entrance/exit and possible parking around a facility.

Copilot has the ability to select a road at any place and select "route through here". I use the cheap car version and do this all the time.

my phone was a 4.3 inch screen. same size as my 4 inch truck unit. my phone now is 5.7 inch screen. but i now use a tablet. 10 inch screen. it hangs on the ceiling trim. when i need to look at the load board. then i can either use my phone or the unit.
they all run the same software made by the same company. although i'm going to check out this tomtom trucker software.
i look at them iphones now and think what a tiny POS phone. with there 3 inch screens. those, wouldn't cut the mustard. -
Google maps gives u route options and its free. I don't have a iPhone. My lg g2 is all 5.2 1080p screen. My garmin is smaller screen..
