Common sense would say, if you find yourself in a spot like this. Before you move the truck, call the police, and have them come block traffic, so you can back up and get help finding a new route.
Oh but wait, I forgot , there is no common sense out here any moredrvrtech77 Thanks this. -

The person with the camera did state he offered to help, but got turned down. So no need to bash the guy taking the video IMHO.
That was AFTER the driver hit the low clearance overpass mind, so he may have already been a lost cause.
I got this a while back, brand new Western Star, hit by a USA Truck driver. This is my personal rig, not a company truck BTW.

For those that ASSume all USA drivers are like the two bozos in the pictures, then you are wrong. Look in my thread "Thanks USA Truck" and see the outpouring of good wishes etc from drivers from USA Truck. Granted there were 2 in there that fit the bill nicely, when talking of who to avoid, but the VAST majority are safe and professional drivers in my book.
Let's not let the actions of a few paint the rest in a bad light. That is after all, what is wrong with this industry as a whole when it comes to the public's perception of us all.
MartinSleepy68, Thomas0810 and d o g Thank this. -
How is that even possible? It's a bobtail. Was he trying to back hook up the trailer next to you? -
Student with trainer in the bunk, both drunk.

They must have gotten the booze from the Flying J because there aren't any liquor establishments in that area. I know truck stops cater to more than just truck drivers but maybe they should check driver licenses and not sell alcohol to anyone that had a cdl.
