Looking at buying a 2012 Infinity Fontaine combo. All 8 rims were suppose to be aluminum. The inner ones are steel. Also, there is a bit of damage to a outside rail that wasn't mentioned, just in one spot. The price they want is $28,500 how much would you take off to take it as is? Everything else seems decent about the trailer. Nothing fancy a couple of boxes and sliding winches.

I would offer 10% less than the asking price - without mentioning the items. More than likely the sales guy will balk at come back with 5% less. Then mention the items and either get the sales guy to the 10% or meet him at 7.5?% - All assuming you still think this is a good deal then go for it. If not there should be more out there soon. Hope this helps!

It is a 48' flat Fontaine Infinity combo. The damage is on the outside rail on the passenger side about in the middle of the trailer. The damage is that the aluminum in about a 4" section was chewed up or gouged apart. I don't think it affects the operation of the flat, but for a 2012 I expect it to be in nice shape. Am I being to picky or unrealistic? I think it bugs me that it wasn't disclosed in their ad and I noticed it the first time I went out to look at it. I need get a flatbed as my driver starts in a few days and I don't want to jerk him around. There aren't a lot late model flats in my area unless I buy new which I am not a fan of. I am more of a kind of guy that likes to buy 1 year old or so.

When I look on truckpaper I would have to go all the way to MO or further to get one at that price for new and no boxes, and I don't think that includes FET either.

For about $6k more I could get a 2013 Manac that has a couple more goodies on it. That would include FET and the boxes.
