That can be serious if not treated. Get to dr and get antibiotics, get rest, and fluids.

^^^^ What he said. If you really have strep (need a throat culture test to be certain), you need antibiotics. The good news is those usually take care of it pretty fast.

Edit: A lot of places now have "urgent care" clinics where you can drop in and be seen for exactly this sort of thing, no appointment needed. Usually around $50 per visit. Many major department/discount stores have them inside the store, right next to the pharmacy.

You need to get it diagnosed and treated. Or at least start gargling (do not swallow) with table salt water.

Really, you need to go home or to a hotel, isolate, shower, drink water, eat fruit, stay at one temperature, don't exert yourself, ie. let your body rest completely.

    Feel better, buddy.

I joke a lot on this Great Forum. I'm not joking, Dear Family, If I would have gone to a Doctor, I would not be dead. Better listen & get there. Strep turns into poison real quick. Better listen.

If you can get to an Urgent Care, the doctors there can give you samples or a prescription for your strep. You don't need an appointment and you can search for places nearest to you online. Many take a variety of insurance plan copays, too.
