I got a 13 spd .73, 3.73 rears on LP24.5's. 80 MPH is about 1700 RPM n yes, I can pull up a 6% hill no problem grossing 80K lbs in high range lol...I do it in high range grossing 140K lbs on a 7% hill. Pretty wimpy truck not to do it at 80K on a 6% hill...
How do you build a fast truck?

If we are doing trucker stories, we used to have a K100 with a 3406A and a double over 12513, and it would run 108 rpm'd out with 4.33s. -

feel free to double check my math, even on tall 24.5's its only 87 MPH, your set-up requires 2200 RPM to achieve 98.7 MPH, 2300 required to get 103.2. "Wrapped it up" is an understatement if you were really "well over 100"
