Hi dog, that works for me cause that is where I live. The only issue I am finding with any of these companies is the length of time they keep you out for training. Not that I do not need it but my dog is going to suffer big with me being gone so long before I can take her.

You'll just have to make accommodations. Students ALWAYS have to go through training....that is the industry.
I understand "pet lovers"....but how about you try and leave your kids behind like a lot of us did.
If it is too difficult on you or your dog....you can always pick something else. -
Oh trust me, I understand the kid thing. So I totally get it. I am starting this adventure later in life so my babies are grown now. I do not think I could leave my kids at all so big props to all of you who have. I know we all make choices that are intended to improve the lives of our families. The sacrifices are big, I just hope it proves to be worth it.

Wil-Trans out of Missouri is a great company. You wont be disappointed. Give them a call or you can PM me and I will give you as much information as I can.

Here's a response from a Wil-Trans recruiter for a Trainee:
Usually takes a new trainee about 3-4 months to complete the OTR training, but of course you have time at your home during the training as well. You have to get 60,000 miles with a trainer, first 2 paychecks are $400, then for the rest of the 20,000 miles you are set at .10 cpm, the next 20,000 miles at .12 cpm, and the last 20,000 miles you are at .14 cpm. These are all accumulated miles between you and trainer and you would hit 5,000 to 6,000 miles a week. All your transportation, hotel and meals will be covered here and would only be 2-3 days, before we get you on the road. If you want to drive or fly yourself I can reimburse you for the bus ticket amount which averages $200. I would be glad to answer any questions you have for me over the phone just give me a call.
I wasn't too impressed with this response myself. That's a whole lot more time OTR with a Trainer than anyone else I have spoken to and for a whole lot less. Just my opinion..... -
Can you find out what recruiter they talked to because i dont think sounds right.
-
The more experience you can get with a good trainer the better off you will be.
-
If this information is correct, their training time is really long and their cpm is extremely low. I do not think I would go with them at this rate. It would be nice to know how accurate this is.
-
None of them.

This info I received was via email. I do not want to mention the recruiter's name on here. I don't feel that would be right. I always ask several listed ques, via email. Sometimes recruiters will not answer any ques via email (phone only). Which usually makes me ques their integrity. If they are answering any ques honestly, it shouldn't make a difference whether they do it via email or a phone conversation IMO. If you are not sure and are considering Wil-Trans .... contact them and ask ques. Simple as that.
