But if i take them to court I would win because I never got paid for the ez pass toll, It was a ez pass transporter in the truck. They just went back to all the trips and choose the tolls that I should pay out of my own pocket.

Well...consider me guilty (of not better examining these Direct DEPOSIT forms), and shocked completely that I didn't realize I was giving someone complete reign of my bank account.

I guess I can say the same as Allow Me...I have never had anyone 'withdraw' from my account.

Luckily; I have been with my bank for decades, and everyone there knows my spending & saving habits....there is no doubt in my mind, that if someone (even my employer) attempts to withdraw funds electronically, my bank would notify me prior to accepting the transaction.

p.s.- Something seems a little fishy about WHY Celedon is charging for some tolls. If the tolls were paid through EZ-Pass, wouldn't they ALL be authorized? I have driven for companies that issue EZ-Pass, and then tell you to stay off all other toll roads (i.e.- Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas, etc...) that don't accept EZ-Pass. I don't get it.

The routing system determines which tolls are authorized for any given load, so there's no set toll you can run 100% of the time. A message is sent to the truck when dispatched outlining fuel stops and routing. If there's an issue with the computer-generated routing, dispatch can override and authorize additional tolls. For states that don't accept EZ-Pass, an advance is issued to cover the tolls and payroll gets notified so the driver isn't charged back for it. Aside from a very rare system error, the only way a Celadon company driver would get charged back for tolls is if he/she ran tolls that weren't authorized. So, either the routing was ignored to begin with, or the driver ran into a problem with construction/traffic/weather/whatever on the authorized route and didn't ask dispatch for a manual override. I don't doubt trucker2000's story but I would guess there's a little more to it.

White Dog !!!YOU ARE SOOOO....RIGHT!!!..There isn't one company out there that will give you anything extra. Payroll checks and double checks for Tolls, Hotel, Advances, etc., BEFORE they release ANY funds into your Bank Account. Payroll will take money from your Comdata Card if you have released a certain percent of your pay to Celadon Comdata (they have control over that side)....THEY WILL NOT AND CANNOT ACCESS YOUR PERSONAL BANK ACCOUNT! PERIOD! Payroll may mistakenly TAKE AWAY miles you ran, therefore not paying you for what miles you are owed. You only need to call them and let them know...BUT STAY ON THEM! to resolve the mistake. THEY WILL FIX IT! I've had trouble w/Celadon also and every thing was resolved. BUT the Driver Managers - !OMG!..This is a real problem! To sum it up, w/ALL trucking companies, 50% of the Drivers are really satisfied and 50% are really unsatisfied. KEEP IT IN THE ROAD!

<-10 years O/O mostly team for Celadon Canada : I paid 1000s of $$ from my pocket for tolls, bridges, scales over the years, but they always refunded my $$ back in next pay check; when comes $$$ Celadon always paid in time. Every week tuesday i got my $$ in bank...well Celadon is not perfect company but not bad; I'm still happy here.

Interesting. Thanks for the heads up. I will set it up this way if I am forced into the direct deposit scenario. Open a separate account for payroll purposes only and transfer the deposits to an untouchable account. They cant withdraw funds that arent there.
