lol. its amazing how we're all gung ho about the road until we meet a woman.. then priorities shift. I can say that mine was about 10% of my decision to come off the road... necessary evil.. I tell ya!
Lonestar is a great company overall.. and if I had to return to the road and I didn't stick with the tanker thing I'd go straight back to them. But, i'm happy hauling fuel at this point and have the potential to grow in this company given my propensity to move if necessary as I move out of a driving position. Bob at Lonestar was, hands down, the best dispatcher i've ever had. Most didn't like him but him and I shared the same personality qualities.. so that sure helped. The Challenger, DrtyDiesel and Suptrkr Thank this. -
Mystikal, I would agree with you 150% that Bob is the best dispatcher a person could have. He is the fairest person you can ask for. I would ask for him if I every return to LST too.
Mystikal Thanks this. -

Djtrype... Did you finally get out of Whitehorse Yukon and start heading back to the states yet?
-
I left Whitehorse yesterday about 6pm local time and had to wait until day dispatch came in to get my permit for Alaska. Of course not having done paper logs in forever, I get dinged for not having a change of duty at the border. The DOT guy was bored so I, unintentionally, gave him something to do last night. Never had a single issue in Canada.
Got told to head to Blaine, WA area after I'm done here. Should be there by Friday, hopefully.
Edit to add: Anyone know of s good chiropractor in the Seattle area. I'm going to need my spine realigned after this trip. There's ~150 miles of road in Alaska and the Yukon that is just nasty! The slightest looking dip sends you into the passenger seat or through the roof. It's a crazy experience.DrtyDiesel, Weeble Kneeble, Sleepy68 and 1 other person Thank this. -

My Miles have been good so far this time out, running like crazy. I got an oversize load of tires going from Decatur, IL to Galveston, TX.

Curious about drive'n for LS, what can a driver BRING HOME a week money wise, the pay by the mile or percentage, & can a guy get the miles if he wants them ?? (Its all about the green stuff)
Thanks in advance.
