HMMM, I'm picking up a relay tomorrow in Winchester, better be a scale ticket
-
But you know, there is a 99.9% chance it won't be scaled. That's just how it goes. -
LOL Yup, I'm actually picking up a pre-loaded Rubbermaid load there, I was just callin ya out
I remember all the fun you had previously
P.S. Don't ever bother trying to get into the Flying J there, not worth it -
Not much new to report over the past couple days, thankfully out of the Northeast though. Went from Winchester, VA over to Indiana, then down to Georgia today and am delivering in Alabama tomorrow morning. Gonna have to wake up at 0430 to make this appointment time... time to get some sleep!
Kutina Thanks this. -
Oh yeah. It's so nice passing you boys in my 75mph truck!! I had a brand new driver on a dedicated down in Florida ask about coming to work for us because of how "nascar" we were.. ####### wannabe hicks. Hope you guys are all good.

I've enjoyed and learned a lot from this thread. Thank you for taking the time to tell us some of what to expect once we get out there. I start school on Monday and when I'm finished I'm going to try to get on with Schneider. My dad drives for them on the dollor general account. I look forward to reading about more of your adventures. Stay safe. Maybe I'll see some of you around out there.

Delivered to Dollar General in South Boston, VA today. Southern VA is one of my least favorite places to drive with a fully loaded trailer, it is absolutely miserable with all these little hills. Climb hill, speed up on the way down, climb another, shift shift shift stop light stoplight stoplight then add in the moron 4wheelers that just HAVE to pass you on the climb, then cut in front of you and run 10MPH below the speed limit on the other side of the hill. Yeah, one of those days.
Miles have been poor over the past 2 weeks. Not terrible, but poor. Gone are my $700-800 paychecks and hello $400-500. Ugh.
Sitting for a live load now and then headed towards PA. Not a good place to be especially at the start of the weekend, I'll probably get stuck up in the Northeast. Hurry up November, hope my truck is ready soon. I'll probably make some phone calls next week and see if I can get some more concrete information about when the truck will be ready, when I need to schedule training, etc., etc. I asked for the new lease quote to be sent to me when the lady from Charlotte put my name on the truck up in Green Bay but I never received it... I won't be happy if my name somehow did not end up on that truck.Kutina Thanks this. -
