I dunno. I have a pretty good personal life, have BBQs with friends and family, day trips to wherever. Etc. I have set days off for the most part, every second usually. I can count on one hand how many times I've had to work on my weekend off. And if there's a few slow days, and I'm not at the shop I can go shopping with wife or spend time with my kids

It depends on the company you work for.
Sure you can work 15/6. But for those 15 days, that company owns you

Helps when you live close to home too. I enjoy my time at work. I'm not stuck in a sleeper, hotels paid for on the road, plus living allowance. 21 and 7 isn't a bad shift too work for me either.

I work a 21/14. Live 4500km from where I work. Paid rent, flights, food, mileage to and from airports. Tons of personal life. Kid time, mommy daddy time, Hunting, biking. It's all how you learn to divide your time. Some can, some can't.

Nate is just a young single fella 22 years old. That makes good money and keeps moving up the ladder. Whats wrong with him working 14 on and 7 off.

    Hi Everone,
I just recently got Class 1 license. I want a job in the oilfields, with rotation work, 14/7 for example, and I want to have accommodation provided. I was thinking of going myself to Fort McMurray and apply in person. Is that a good idea? Where should I ask?
    Thanks.

Hey youngbuck, just about finished with the training and course here in Grand Prairie. I'm hauling bulk N2 , never have done it before..however the past 2 weeks have been a whirlwind with all the course requirements and training. Is anyone else working for any fracking companies in GP.
