Planeview is an okay place. They don't allow droping trailers but I had an emergency up there. I had an MRI and someone wrecked a truck pulling a PET scanner so I had to find somewhere to drop my MRI for a few hours and go get that PET. they real real nice and allowed me to do that. I worked local around there allot so I don't know how there retaraunt is but the quick food they have is miserable. THem things they call pizzas that are like tiny lil frisbies :biggrin_2554: they don't have much in the store. But the biggest problem I have there is they only ave that single register area in the center of the place with two registers, half the time only one person working. You have to fight with the 4 wheelers paying for gas/food and then the truck drivers too all in the same place. It takes a bit to pay for fuel. Not having a dedicated fuel desk is one of my pet pieves. Mainly it just takes too long to get in and out of there. and the bathrooms could use some freshning up

Plainview, TX? I don't recall a truckstop in Plainview, TX.

Would be a good place for one, with Excel/Cargill AND Wal-Mart DC both there. TON of grain elevators there, too.

There's a NASTY Rip Griffin's up the road in Tulia I avoid like the plague. Lubbock has a Flying J that's okay. And a Chisum that slid downhill since it's opened. The 1st owner embezelled money from his former employer & it was sold in an auction. Good ol' Jody Nelson from my hometown. That's another story.

#2 I want employees to treat me with respect as a fellow human being, not a life form lower than pond scum!
    #3 See #2

Also- The future cutting edge in truck stops is going to be a building on the lot that you can lease to a gym. Times are a changin'

yes! remember that there are women truckers!

give us a shelf to put our items on in the shower and keep it clean so I don't have to set my things on a washcloth on the floor. Get adjustable shower heads so that I can move it while I shave, and still be able to keep the soap on my legs. make 2 towels a standard for your showers. I get so tired of asking.

I go to petro's for the massages! Consider a masseuse or a hair place. I don't go to barbers, and men dont go to stylists!

Put games besides "stripping lady poker" and war/shooting games in your arcade.

Sometimes females need items from the store too. This petro I am at has all kinds of men's shoes, but no women's. (probably not big enough!) bra's, underclothes... Now that I think about it, maybe that is why no stores put in women stuff. There is no way they could satisfy everyone.
