That is why I bought ramps, picked them up 2nd hand off an older couple who couldn't haul them around anymore, paid for themselves in weeks.

I got ramps also. I normally try to get extra 75-150$ if needing them on freight that step deck rates. And I usually get it.
Also my ramps have gotten me unloaded at places, where customer had no docks.
I've also unloaded large excavator without ramps or dock.

Never seen that before. Gave me a good laugh. Use to work in the oil industry, at q plant though. Still, we did some pretty crazy stuff to get jobs done.

Back in the 80's the demo company I worked for loaded all smaller equipment into roll off containers (Dumpsters). Was not uncommon to brake hard for a light and hear things banging around back there.

I picked up a load of shopping carts. Light load... But wheels on a unsecured load in a van.. OMG.. If you think a live load is bad. When I finally got to the store.. 4-5 carts had gotten sideways and were totaled . All in the day of trucking.
