So how much weight is allowed on the EU steers?
-
10metric ton or 22000 lbs , in real life very few trucks get this mainly trucks with big cranes , for normal on road trucks this is about 7-7.5t max (15500-16500lbs)kajidono, Schwinder, Freightlinerbob and 1 other person Thank this.

That tall cab sits up off the engine with a flat floor, or close to it, right? Maybe if they shortened the driveshaft and moved the engine/trans back a foot or so it would balance out. Depends on how determined they get to break into the market over here. They don't seem to need to though.

iveco had set forward front axle in australia , was ugly....
-
Nah, leave the axles/cab where they are and move the drivetrain to shift weight rearward. Like they did on the 240z. Truck will look the same but the balance will be different.
-
Why we have different load rules, where as we make roads of same standards...?
-
That could be applied to a lot of things.
-
You mean like making measurements all metric?Schwinder Thanks this.
-
Yeah, Why Americans are still sticking to that collonial times measurement system, the whole world has changed to metric system.
