Gross revenue at $9196. Net check at -$109?
There's A LOT of expenses being taken!! What expenses? How many weeks behind in the truck payment? Fuel cost? Cash Advances? How many weeks has he had a team mate? There's a lot of questions that he and you should be asking.
Nevertheless...... if he and you choose to depart CRE and the Lease..... Just make sure he returns the truck to the CRE terminal. DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT leave it at a truck stop, at a shipper, on the side of the road, etc.
If you love your wife, avoid CR England

My shelf has a little black box. I was home to have her cremated. I asked if I could take her with me. Only thing I never wanted to own. You don't know what you have, It's all yours. Can't replace it. Can't Duplicate it. Your a #### fool. Get a job. Be a Man, love her more, OHHHHHHH Make everyday count. A little box don't mean much when it contains your Woman. Better hold Her while you can.
blairandgretchen, Nightwind8830, flightwatch and 3 others Thank this. -
Like I said, hopefully he can make it IN by Tuesday afternoon so they can shuttle him to IL to switch companies and do their orientation. I'm praying that it works out that way. He's headed from TX to lower CA now, & is almost there and then from CA to Indianapolis. We kept hoping CRE would get better and it was just a fluke, but clearly its just a POS company.

I'm sorry about your wife, but I'm his wife. He does love me, he is a man. He took this job to support me. Not his fault the company turned out to be so #### crappy. He hates being gone. I have half a heart, have had 4 open heart surgeries. The last one was August of last year and I have to have a transplant in 10 years or so. The last thing he really wants is to be gone from me ALL the time, but he did it to get the miles and time under his belt so he can get a local job in a few years. There is NOTHING in this world he wouldn't do for me. If I asked him to quit and come home he would, but we'd be in the same position we were a year ago because he still doesn't have to time on his record to get something good here. All the ports want 2-3 years driving exp. So please, don't tell him to man up cause he is a man, very much so and if he loved me anymore, he'd suffocate. Again I'm sorry about your wife, but don't assume just b/c he's gone all the time he doesn't love me to galaxies and back.

He's been a Phase II trainer since April. He's a student consistently for the past 3 months. He's not behind on his truck payment at all, they take it every week. Fuel cost he gets half back, only one advance. They took fuel out from 2 trips in Sept. that I can't find on any other stub, so I guess they just missed it. They were suppose to refund load locks but they didn't, but even those weren't THAT much. He's calling payroll Monday morning to talk to them and he's deff. taking the truck to a terminal. I'd kill him if he abandoned it cause that would royally ## everything.

Good job!
Definitely look into it all and ask A LOT of questions. -
Sorry for your situation, but if he came from a long line of truckers, he should have well known about CRE.
Anyway, like the others have said, don't abandon the truck. Get it back to the terminal, and have them inspect it before walking away. And personally, from what I've heard, USX isn't much better than CRE. Maybe do some more research.
Good luck to you two, whatever happens.blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
He's talked to drivers from tons of different companies at truck stops to get a feel on where to go and outta all of them USX gave the best feedback. Even if he's not home more he wouldn't be leasing a truck or having to pay a student or have fuel taken outta his check. It's gotta be better than this BS. But as for his family, none of them ever worked to CRE so I guess it was never talked about at family dinners? & he we had moved to VA by the time he had decided to do it. He was in culinary school trying to avoid the family curse but alas it happened anyway and it all happened kinda fast. My dad was sick, I was recovering from heart surgery, my mom was trying to kick us out while we were taking care of my dad at the same time and he was trying to do anything that would pay better. It was just the first place that would pay for him to get there, get his CDL and get him a paycheck. If there would have been more time I'm sure he woulda called his Uncle's and talked it over with them.

I don't love my wife but I'm not going to work for those losers lol.
ChefBrianN Thanks this. -
I'm very sorry to read this.
I would recommend he quit.
I recommend that he look for local work, possibly as a cement mixer driver. Drive around looking at trucks in town that are straight trucks and daycabs (if he still wants to be a truck driver). Lowes has trucks for delivery. So does Home Depot. If I was married I would go that route. If I liked my wife and wanted to keep her.
I recommend he get a job to tie him over until he can restart. Pizza delivery. Working at Lowes. Whatever. Anything is going to be better than CREngland.
I apologize, I tried not to, but I looked down the shirt of your avatar. It's the way the camera is angled. Won't do it again.
