If you love your wife, avoid CR England

You want to know if you love someone, Spend 24/7 in a truck. We did it for years.

 

I see it as I see it. Don't sugar coat it. We have a tough job, not most people can handle. A select few have what it takes to keep America the way it needs to be. I drive an 18 wheeler. Daughter Called me Trucker.

What a deal. I get a plastic box, & a Coffin & it only costs me 12,000.00 Don't have a choice. I don't want to be me. Should have been a panie player in a ##### house. The words it don't catch, is a wonder to me. If I was not so sad, this would be fun.

 

It is unfortunate, but many fall for the bull crap England deals out, promise of big checks if they lease, OK? their gross check maybe not bad, but the amount they will put in their pocket will be drastically smaller, Now, I'm usually not a fan of "Don't work for this company" threads, but I know a couple of drivers that fell for this and have seen with my own eye's, the mile they ran and the money they got to put in their pocket, It should be criminal, On that note, not only if you love your wife, But if you don't want to loss everything you have, Or if your OK with being paid $h!t

 

The first year I did the lease with CRE my 52 week average paycheck was about $396. Every other paycheck was negative and my Wife and I would get into big fights of me basically working for free. The second year my average went up to about $700 and by the fourth year I was around $1200.

I finally got the coconuts to leave there and I realize now I should have left as soon as I had enough experience. After doing the math I payed about $300,000 for my Century. After I completed the lease I basically bought a truck that I already payed off for them.

The also screwed over my phase 1 trainer who was with them for 15 years. He was pro England until they basically turned their back on him.

 

What drivers are forced to go thru with this company is unreal.England doesn't care either.They are the very top of the 10 worst companies but yet hires the most drivers,I don't get it.

 

Tell him to tough it out..then turn in the truck and look for something better.

Everyone makes mistakes,so he can move on from there.

It's an ugly situation but it can be overcome.

so england was president of the american trucking association.
at one time i spent a few minutes searching for a list of the companies who are members of this organization but im a free man so i did not persist.
i believe they all have the same business model that causes them to prefer inexperienced drivers.
with our debts and deficits it should be possible to remove the incentives for these ata members to run cdl mills and disciminate against experienced drivers.
the other members probably will not steal all of your pay like england but experienced drivers should not go from one ata company to another. i remember when people complained tjhat you could not get a trucking job without experience and you could not get experience
