IMHO, 25,000 is too long for regular oil, too short for synthetic...do you pull oil samples yourself at the minor & major service?

Yeah, it seems a bit long to me as well. However, it is what cummins recommends in their manuals. I don't pull samples personally, but I'm sure the shop does on the major service.

I was looking at getting a bypass centrifuge system to help keep things cleaner.

If you want to protect your investment....I take a new short piece of plastic air line & put it down the dip stick tube to draw enough oil into a kit sold almost anywhere...piece of mind for about $25 average

I got a quot for a 60 month full service lease with a buyout at the end. He did say I'd pay about 8 cents a mile on a average 144000 Kms a year. I thought that on a full service lease I cannot buy the unit out at the end. So is this a finance lease or is it something else?
