What do you get paid per mile ( odometer miles ) ? Who pays the tolls?
Is it possible to make good money hauling containers (intermodal)?

And if ur waiting that long you are losing money.I'm around Savannah,Ga. and I never see any good looking equipment coming out of the ports.

There's money in intermodal. But expect to be D.O.T'd more often and your equipment will take a severe beating. Intermodal O/O's here average about $2,500 a week after diesel. I have seen a few hit $3,000.

I pull Rail Containers out of NJ,NY and PA. take them up to 400 miles radius, home most nights and the weekend. We make a avg of $ 2000.00 a week after fuel, plates, insurance. You just have to be at the right company stay away from the little ones, less risks. and better benefits.
