I have been using marvel mystery oil on my truck frames to prevent rust. It works well, but I was wondering if anyone has a different recipe that they use in their hand sprayer that works well but is cheaper?
Thanks.
What are you using for rust preventative?

I use KROWN oil but it is probably the same stuff and also cost wise. I really like it. Spray on all you like and will not drip and leaves a glossy painted look.

I've used WD-40. Not the aerosol spray can but the liquid that comes in gallon jugs. Put in a hand sprayer bottle and mist over stuff. I'd keep it away from electrical stuff and rubber seals/fittings perhaps. Picked this up at a sheet metal shop I used to work in. It was located a mile from the ocean so they misted the machinery nightly then the morning shift wiped everything down prior to starting work. Some of the machines were 60-70 years old and looked like they came off the production line last week.

I use fluid film , doesn't wash off or throw off.great for electrical connects also. can buy it in gallon can and use a undercoating gun to apply it also if your doing larger areas, I mainly spray joints and hidden boxed areas of the cab etc.
