We are approaching the deadline for the last of the non OEM DPF trucks to get DPF's to comply with the CARB regs. Has anyone done this retrofit?

Don't do it! Work for a company that is located in Ca. Huge pain in the a.. If you idle at all you will constantly have to remove for cleaning. At least that is how these are. When the data logger was put on for testing they did it in the summer when the equipment movers can finish their work in daylight. But come winter they have to idle for four plus hours a day for loading lights. So the test was not real world. Shop manager at that time bought a bill of goods! We have eight of these. New trucks are on order to replace these junks. Use the money the retrofit costs for a downpayment. My experience and opinion, just don't do it.
