Hey been doing research on trucking companies and just graduated from trucking school but very VERY curious if I picked the right choice going with roehl-it came down to either them or us express-have heard a lot of good and bad with both companies and read about the same on the internet but would love to hear from current drivers from roehl-any info would be greatly appreciated

My good friend Todd was with Roehl for a year on their 14-7 plan. It worked very well from what he and his wife have said about it. If there was ever an issue, she could pick up the phone and it was taken care of ASAP.

Its still going to boil down to whether or not they are a good fit for you, but there are much worse places to start.

This is my second time with Roehl. They won't ever expect you to do anything unsafe.

Regardless of where you go, trucking is still trucking. It is not an easy life style for many. So if you don't like what you see at Roehl give them at least one year and then decide how you want to proceed. Roehl has some of the best home time options available.

After looking through all the options Roehl seemed like the best choice for me also, I'm looking forward to heading down to RDTC in December/January to start my next career.

    You made a better choice,

than 90% of other new drivers do.

    Good Luck ! :yes2557:

Can you tell me if Roehl makes you sit a lot, or do they keep you rolling?

I had to chuckle at that one. Every trucking company tries to keep you rolling; it doesn't pay for them to have their truck sit without making them money either. The real question is, how good are they at finding profitable freight for you to haul so you don't have to sit. In my experience they're pretty good at that. Have I had to sit sometimes, yes (rarely), but that's just the way the business is...sometimes there are slow freight days. You're liable to get a lot of different answers depending on who you ask of course.
