Unemployment rate in Midland, TX is about 3.5% which according to economists is full employment. I pass signs everyday indicating that companies are hiring. If you can't find work out here you either don't want to work or can't pass a drug test.

Midland is just one city. Around it are Odessa, Kermit, Big Spring, Pecos, Andrews, Rankin, Big Lake, and many many more. You will find work if you want. Farther from Midland/Odessa proper you get the easier and cheaper housing should be. Not always. But you also give up some around the corner conveniences. Good luck .

Something tells me that yard dogging is gonna make you real popular, lol. TX is a big state, check around. It never hurt to pound pavement dropping applications- what your school (I'm assuming you went to a votech school for CDL training) didn't tell you, is now you get to put in a year of dues, OTR, taking big bites of the #### sandwich.

Just make random posts until you have your 7 posts.

The seven post minimum ensures that members are part of the community before they can take advantage of the privilege of using PM's. This is done in an attempt to keep members from having their Inboxes flooded by spammers.

Making seven random posts isn't the same thing as engaging in the discussions and being part of the community. Otherwise, spammers could do the same thing - just post nonsense so that they could access members privately. That's why we delete posts like that when we find them.

Just jump into a discussion somewhere and seven posts will come quickly. If you need to send a PM before you reach the minimum, any moderator or administrator can forward it for you.

True enough, but sometimes it's fun to make random posts. Kinda like this one! :D

...and then there are the times that in lieu of deleting these random posts, we simply ban members instead.

    Goodbye, glenn71. :biggrin_25523:
