You'd probably have more luck in OK,NM, TX;LA ND is old news. How many yrs you been seeing ND and threatening to go?? 5?? 6?? You might get on if you bust your rear enough. Lot more jobs in South and lot better chance to find place to stay. You have to strike while the iron is hot. Stragglers get the scraps. Good luck.

Sanjel is a F'n Joke. Work 100 hours a week and get paid salary, equals out to be around $60,000 for your first year. You can haul water up here on the reservation and make twice that.

I came to N.D. Jan. 2012 figured less drivers in the winter, It paid off very well! There are still 180 + - rigs here drilling lotsa work going on everywhere, If ya can throw iron several time a day and have offroad experience you can do very well here. Good luck to you.

Are you saying that if you work 100 hours, it comes out to be about 120k ? I heard that it slows down during the winter for hauling water.

I don't know of one. I found my job off Craigslist I guess three weeks ago. I went through orientation and didn't get along with the contractor and now I'm with another contractor leased on to the same company. I moved into a four person skid whatever (like a trailer with no wheels) today and am eager to start training. It's cold outside but it sunny and the roads are clear. Nice.
