Great info guys thanks alot. I just finished my application for the new truck. Bad part is with the down payment they want to get the payments where I want them looks like the trailer will have to wait lol. One thing after another. Looks like paying cash for a trailer is out of the question for a while.HHHmmmm maybe lease one for a month or to. Or rent to own if the interest don't kill you. Any suggestions on trailer company's that has done you guys right in the past?

Sorry guys. Just got back from the north east on a little 5 day run. Thanks for all the info defiantly helps alot. What I was thinking was just to plate for 26000 to start to get some cash flow going. I did not thing the 3500s would do to well with 35000 GVW. Until these replys I was actually thinging about picking up something like a class 4 but if you guys say a 1 ton will do the job reliable I will believe yah. It would be nice for me to lease a truck and buy the trailer but I did not find anyone that leases them.

I do lease trailers to drivers... I have 4 on the road now. I use a F350 (non-duels) with a 25+5 gooseneck. My GVW (truck and trailer) is 13700...I know I can safely load up to 12000lbs and be legal. I just purchased a Dodge 4500 with a sleeper box which will eat some of my 12000lbs of cargo weight... I'll be moving up to the 36,000lbs just to have the flexibility to take keep around that 12,000lbs loads.

I would love to lease a truck. Straight truck or not. It would be easier for me to start but I have not found any company that does it. Every one seems to want you to get a semi. Any ideas
