Sorry to hear that luvtotruck.I know who wanna work and companies like this isn't worth driving for.Yes if companies aren't interested they won't call back and tell you.We already know this company won't call you but I say call her in the morning at 8 am and ask her why she has to be so rude not returning my calls or emails.Sooner or later she'll answer because other ppl call and she won't ignore every call.

Im an owner operator but I've actually worked in the safety department of a mid sized fleet. Usually when we didnt call back was either because thw insurance company denied the applicant or we had few openings and more qualified applicants. If you are applying with big fleets which usually have a high turnover rate and are getting denied you shoild check your MVR. Also request a copy of your DAC report.
HappyHardCore Thanks this. -
Ok I finally got a message back, I had to email the CEO and get that person involved, Then that person got the person I was trying to communicate with involved the results was not what I wanted, I will continue. Thank You all for your kind remarks and suggestions. LTT

I am sorry it didn't work out. Hopefully, this means the next opportunity is a better one.

That sucks you didn't get hired. But doesn't surprise me reason being is because they never called you back .So anytime a company doesn't call within a couple days, thats a sign you was denied. From what I know of you from the forum, you seem like a nice person that I can't see having a less then desireable background. Can you tell us why this company denied you?

That's sad felons could get a Job before a veteran I've applied to Stevens and Prime and because of work history was denied both from a callback.Been out of work 7
months.Does anyone know of any other companies I can get my cdl from.I put in apps at Swift and CRST today. My mvr is clean, criminal record clean,no accidents or tickets but because I'm not working I get denied that makes no sense. -
Chinatown might be able to help you. He gave me some good tips.
Since you don't have your CDL yet, would your local workforce assistance office be able to fund training through a trucking school? I imagine companies like Prime have some competition to get slots in their paid schooling. It might be easier to hook on with a carrier after you have your CDL in hand.
Don't take it personally - I've been rejected by Schneider, Swift, Melton, Conway, Saia, FFE, Central Refrigerated and Crete. My record is so clean, the EPA could use it as a benchmark.KW Cajun Thanks this. -
No I did not retire: Did my seven year stint active and another 6 year tour as an active reservist up thru the first Gulf War. Never regretted joining and never regretted getting out; in fact looking back on it and remembering the condition(s) of some of my Army friends physical/mental conditions upon returning to Germany from Iraq, I was actually lucky to have not been directly deployed to that theater.KW Cajun Thanks this.
