Aim high in steering, always look 15 seconds ahead and keep a 7 second following distance. Get the big picture, always scan your mirrors. Make sure others see you, a friendly honk won't hurt for eye contact with pedestrians or bicyclists. And there are 2 other keys... But the goal is getting you to being a more responsible and observant driver. Like when I go to a truck stop or a customer, if I have a choice I always pick what looks the easiest to get in and out of. I consider that when I leave at 1 am and its packed... Am I going to be able to get out of here easily without hitting anything? They have taught me to always think ahead and go what if. If a four wheeler pulls in front of you and puts on his brakes, you need to make sure you have enough distance to avoid a hard braking event and to avoid a collision. Stuff like that...

May I ask why you are so tired? Do they run you over your hours? Do you have sleep issues in general? Do you have problems organizing your paperwork? Or are you running beyond your hours and trying to fudge your logs? Did you never learn how to keep an accurate log?

Dude you totally misread my posts. I was only tired THAT DAY. If I get tired anymore I don't drive. I have learned that lesson now.pattyj Thanks this.

Some become a tad bit over dramatic
AndrewMemphis and HotH2o Thank this. -
Okay, I misunderstood. Why do you have so many log violations?
-
May I ask where did you read anything about log violations on this thread?
