New to Prime INC - What to expect (Springfield edition)

Now THAT's what I need to be hearing right about now! Will set start date sometime tomorrow or Monday. Read to finally get going.

Do yourself two favors... first, ignore advice from folks who aren't driving when considering things about driving. No disrespect, they just don't have a good base of knowledge to work from. Second save your money... third-party driving schools really don't offer anything more than what Prime does, except a large bill. You'll get more behind-the-wheel experience at Prime than you will at any driving school. Don't be afraid to ask for a different CDL instructor or trainer during your time in training, if you draw someone you have personal issues with or someone who isn't giving you the training experience you need.

 

So tru...prime is the best choice. Great training good money good people

 

@ ironpony: Thank you for the info. I have have been following the Prime, inc. thread for a couple months now and I have recognized the few truckers that I will allow to be my mentor for any questions that i ask on this thread; you being one of them.

I appreciate the clarification of going to a third-party CDL school vs. Prime, inc. CDL school also. Safe travels to you.

 

well, didn't work out for mee I missed General Knowledge test :'(..passed the other 2.i sware he could've let me stay till Tuesday. ..but my recruiter told me give her a csll when I get my permit. ..n was told I'd be brought back? curious on how true that is?

 

That sucks.

They WILL bring you back.

Alot of folks get sent home, for various reasons.

 

yeah I plan to go company,One thing I thought is dumb is the fact if I got my hazmat here in Tx it doesn't rollover to other states.

 

I'm thinking going Prime and having undecided if Tanker or Flatbed, which are your opinion Drivers? Thanks for coming suggestions.
