hiya, was looking for some info on the fb side. been with prime for almost 2yrs and just tired of refer. my questions on fb, how much more cpm are yall paid? is tarp pay always the same? and average mileage on loads / weekly over all.
Also, do you have to go back out with a trainer if switching divisions? or some sort of class at prime?

I think they still do the 7 day class. At least they did when I was there in 08 and a friend still there says he hasn't heard of any changes.
dooki Thanks this. -
Thanks, that's what I'm hoping it is.

Can't speak for Prime other than the last time I heard the waiting list for a trainer was insanely long. But as for skate boardin', I effing love it(!) and will never go box to pulling a box ever again. That ##### for the birds, older guys, weak and lazy ###'. No offense to the older drivers and the not so physically acceptable guys but flatbed is work and at times can be trying and separate the boys from the men even on the hottest days and worst snow storms.
Now I know someone is going to heavily criticize me for saying this but at the moment have done the best I can to make it not offensive to anyone while laying out the truth so forgive me if you find it offensive because that was not my intentions at all, except the lazy ###'!
FLATBED Thanks this. -
work don't bother me. before I came to prime I worked in a wood shop as a cnc operator tossing around 1" 1/8th 5x12 partical board and mdf sheets 10hours a day 6 days a week for 5yrs. fb will be cake. only reason I went to refer was because they told me that's all I could do as a psd and tnt...that dirty troll woman at the campus -.-

Rain sleet, snow or hail will never stop a flat beder from getting it done . Most of the time it pays better and a lot of hard work . Pride in the work !

Hell yeah! I love it when I roll to the house and tell my wife I got her a gift and open her eyes to a nicely tarped load then tells me I suck for doing it. Pop out with flower's and I get a "you did a really good job wrapping it" lmao.

switching to flatbed will be the third best thing you could do in trucking. going over to maverick of tmc would be the 2nd best.
