Is anyone using the newer style headlights on their fld120? If so, is the upgrade worth the money? How much brighter are they?
How about posting your pics?

I got them on my Columbia and they write well worth the 200 bucks or so they cost. they are much brighter. Got f'n from empire chrome shop in west Memphis, across the street from the speedco.
biofumes Thanks this. -
I made this style headlamps myself for my Windy. I removed lence, polished it, and removed stock reflector and put low beam projector + high beam lamp from Renault truck (made by Hella), looks cool, bright and no glare

a bit later I gonna put some pics here -
iv been currious about them as well. if they work like the headlights on the new pete 389's id love to put them on my truck, i like how they look but at the same time i also like how my old 4 sealed beams look as well.
id consider getting some if i heard some good feedback on them. -
They're not HID. Just regular bulbs behind the projector lens.
-
put HID in projector and they shine well, but no glare (yep, good optic design).
Halogen projectors are made for H7 ore H11 bulb. Conversion HID is available -
Headlightsdepot.com has them for my columbia for $250.00 pair. Thinking of upgrading, my current lenses are all cloudy time for new ones. @sypder are they complete plug and play?

Have been planning on putting these in my 112, and a deer strike the other night forced the issue. The deer pushed the entire fiberglass bucket off the main hood piece, so it's just an open hole. Does anybody know how these mount? I looked under a guys FLD with them once, while speedily walking by... Looks like the old bucket is taken out, new projectors sit against hood, and are "clamped" with a ring on the back side. Am I lucky enough for that to be true? ha. Thanks in advance.

...Bump...

I think they are well worth the money. They install using the stock fiberglass, and go in easily. Clean look, easy to keep clean, and they are waaaay brighter than any stock type halogen setup. I had a wiring issue on the drivers side low beam that kept the ballast from firing, so I never ran them down the road.... But I did put HIDs in them, and they were like daylight.
If you're tired of dealing with headlight/marker issues up front, these are a no brainer.biofumes Thanks this.
