I have read a lot of comments on here about, how could I be late when it was only 200 miles away. Everyone! Forget for just a second the distance. TQL is trying something I have never seen before, charging you and sending you a bill for being late. Any body want to accept that next load from TQL?

I would have picked up the load and gone straight to the end with it.

How are you able to survive grossing $550 a day? If it was a mandatory appointment time of 8am the next day, then $550 would not have cut it. $750 to $1000 should have been your minimum to tie your truck up for the day, depending on where you were, what kind of market you were in. If you're content on grossing $550 for one day, a $150 late fee is probably the least of your worries.

Now someone correct me if I'm wrong on that and fact that he most likely waited to last few hours before the load due and got caught in traffic and was late. Or just flat out left late from where he was at? Let's deal with the FACTS and NOT excuses on why,how and beat around the bush..........You have to know just busting ur chops to keep you from doing it again. Man up!! If you signed that deal, deal with it and pay. Put urself in their shoes if you were held over at a delivery (detention pay).

They would never pay $150 for an hour of detention. Would the man said was the amount of $150 is ridiculous.
