What is the generally recommended front end alignment interval? Do any of you have front tires wearing unevenly after the alignment was done? What are the possible causes of this? Who do you trust to your alignment?

balancing is very important it will cause spots all over tire. I use two golf balls in each tire it smooths out the ride like you would not beleave. I recomend that you get the all wheel alignment. Also make sure your springpins, kingpins, tourque arms are all in good shape or alignment will be worthless and will have to be done again after replacement of bad parts. A good alignment man should check all this stuff before the alignment is done. Just food for thought.

The only time I recommend a front axle alignment only is if you just replace a tie rod end or hit a curb with a steer wheel only, something like that. If you have steer tire wear, drive axle misalignment could be the cause or a major contributor. Tire wear after an alignment is usually when someone install new tires, but they are not installed properly and are out of round and/or out of balance. Alignments do not fix this and have nothing to do with that type of wear. New tires that are junk, or improperly inflated also have nothing to do with the alignment, but is also an installation issue.
