So if you make $700 with all the hours you put in how much is that per hour effectively?

 

So who appointed you the White Knight of the internet riding to protect the Damsel in Distress? It's funny how some people get away with name calling on the forum that gets others banned or their posts deleted! Do you know anyone who has driven for K&B? I have met dozens because they've been advertising in my area for years---7 days a week on Craigslist, kind of much for a company with only 600 drivers! There is a driver that works with me everyday that is one of our best drivers--his story about how K&B treated him makes the ones mentioned in this thread look minor. They are infamous for reporting lies on drivers DAC, keeping last paychecks etc. and the NE dept. of labor does nothing!

 

The only K&B driver that I have spoken to that was not grumpy/angry was a day cab driver. The OTR drivers spoke terribly about all the waiting around bs ......Maybe if those genius's at the headshed got in a truck and was on the other end, maybe they would understand the frustration. There is Only 2 things I refuse to do....Drive for CHEAP or have a Reefer follow me !

 

I would also say that she is a driver, I had a few PM'S with her......

 

That is true. I have a good trucker friend I stay in touch with. He tried K&B and didn't last long. But he doesn't last long anywhere.

My earlier reply was that poster seemed to have a lot of problems that are common in the meat industry and not company specific.

 

I see kb trucks sitting all the time while i drop and hook and runnin down the road. Seen the same kb driver at tyson in lexington, ne 2 days later after i ran over 1200 mi. Jeez they sit a lot!

 

The math is simple. 14 hours a day, times 6 days a week, equals 84 hours, divided by $700.00, equals $8.33 per hour.

 

If you want to know how ###### K&B treats there drivers go to YouTube and search for the Dark Side Of Trucking by Run hard get paid and listen to what the night dispatchers told Abe when he told them he was falling a sleep at the wheel and needed to stop!

 

I seen on craigslist in Texas they upped the money to 1062 per week.
I wouldn't touch them,every time I see them there sitting,haven't heard anything good about them.
