I then fighting with this code for about a year and a half, MID 136 SID 93 FMI 4, when I hit a puddle in the road or when it rains, sitting still with a trailer not attached to the fifth wheel I get this code, on the dash I get the two idiot lights to up ( ABS , TCS ) I took apart they ABS connections right behind the fifth wheel both of those plugs had two wire connections and the one on top three wire plug. I greased all the connections and it lasted for about a A couple of weeks. ( until I hit a huge water puddle more like a lake )
It looks like I'm down to the axles and the wiring harnesses going to each drive wheel axle, cannot find any information on the Internet of this code.
Can anyone direct me to where I begin, any help would be appreciated

Here's that code from the Bendix EC-60 Manual. If that's not what you have, you're the one that made me guess. If that's wrong, let me know what kind of ABS you have. A year would help as well to narrow down what version.
SID 93 - PMV/TCV/Diff Lock Common
FMI 4 - Shorted to Ground
Verify no continuity between the CMN of all PMVs, TCV, and Diff Lock Solenoid and ground. Check for corroded/damaged wiring or connectors between the ECU and CMN of all PMVs, TCV, and Diff Lock Solenoid -
My truck is an 2007 Volvo vnl780 I-shift about 780,000 on her, don't know which ABS system is on the truck, is there a way for me to find out through the dash board display?
-
Your truck has a bendix ABS system. Most common cause for these types of codes ends up being the 2 16 pin connectors in the left frame rail directly under the rear of the cab. the two connectors are very exposed to road spray and therefore tend to get penetrated with water. Hope this helps.

This is a problem with the Modulator/traction control common wire. Most likely corrosion in a plug or chaffed wire. It is not a sensor code, so wiring to axles is not giving you problems right now.
I do not know if you dash display will tell you what brand ABS. The easiest way to tell is by looking at the valves or modulators, they will have a name and part number on them. You most likely have a Bendix EC-60. There are a few versions, but SID 93 is universal to all of them. -
may be bad wiring....

It would be something that is not under the cab, if it's raining and I don't have a trailer attached to me just sitting there will throw off the code on the display, ( ABS & TCS, both light up the same time ) after about an hour of driving I can clear the code in question.
so does anyone and know what this code is saying, MID 136 SID 93 FMI 4 -
So you are tell me there's two plugs both have 16 pin's each, both are sitting on the rear of the cab on the frame rail, I imagine these are all wrapped up in tape and zip ties ! Is both of these connectors for the ABS systems ?
Sometimes I hate taking these connectors apart a lot of the plastic connectors are starting to get brittle. -
They are not wrapped in tape but are definitely tie wrapped. If you follow the large green trailer wire from the trailer socket down to the frame rail you will find the 2 16 pin connectors. ABS sensors, modulators and rear lights all go through the 2 connectors. Usually one is black and the other is grey.
Wrenchtnr, TheEnglishMan and v6killer Thank this. -
Your fault codes is as follows.
PMV Common
Shorted to
Ground
Verify no continuity between the CMN of all PMVs, TCV, and Diff Lock Solenoid and
ground. Check for corroded/damaged wiring or connectors between the ECU and CMN
of all PMVs, TCV, and Diff Lock Solenoid.
