CB for car

that's what I was thinking... Aint no brokeback truck stop going on around here

 

This is a drama free zone compared to over there. If you just joined what you don't see is the string of posts that get erased constantly because of the fighting and bickering. ALot of the guys there are retired and just play with there trucks. others work them so they are like kids. The working guys complain about the trucks that don't work, the guys who work on there stuff complain about the guys who pay to have there work done etc. There is guys over there who own custom shops so there are good people to get to know. some guys sell parts. I like it because some of those old timers have knowledge that basically will be lost with them about these old trucks. There is guys over there who have been diesel mechanics for decades.there is a guy who hit 1010hp to the ground with his cat last month, with all cat parts too. that was pretty cool. If you listen to the children playing on the cb then you know what you will find over there.

 

MAN!!! sounds a lot like a bit of heaven to me.lol.It really sounds like the same herd I run around with around here.Fun in small doses but can't take it all the time.Kw vs Pete,Connex vs Galaxy,Cat vs Cummins blah blah blah.I don't see why they argue,everybody knows a Pete w/Cat running a Galaxy radio is best...why argue.lol

GRANT???LAWD ALMIGHTY!!! You'd have to have a 650 tejas star pushing that little school girl radio if you wanted it to get out of a 40 acre field.

Actually I do run a grant it's the best recieving radio I have ever had. It's not your grandpa's grant though and I run a 500 texas star. I have talked with a women in northeastern UK and lots up in canada. I frequntly ould chat with cb shops in CA and FL from the midwest.

 

A buddy of mine has an old Grant and it talks really good.He swears by 'em and is always watching yard sales and shops for more of them.I've just always had good luck with Galaxy and I'm kinda used to em.Btw...I got signed up over at that other site and you wasn't kidding about drama......Lot of good info tho' and it doesn't seem like the big company suck up crowd hangs out much there from what little I saw.
