Quick question. Does anybody know how much you get paid (if anything) to take the Smith System class?

 

Company guys get room and board on the house for another day. IIRC, lease ops get $70. SE??

 

Company guys get paid also, I think it was 100.00, but not sure

Also since you are a student, I don't think they pay you as it is required part of the upgrade. But I have been wrong before. After 6 months you can come in and take the Smith again and they pay you then. I used to do it about every six months, when I brought my truck into the shop. Good way to make a 100.00 for sitting around LOL

 

I doubt it's that much. Prime never has paid a company guy anything more for something than a lease guy. I still think they just get a day's room and board at the inn.

Upgrades of any sort... company guys get paid by the mile. You're wheels ain't turnin' you ain't gettin' paid. Don't count on any income at all while you're sitting on your keister at the terminal. You will get a meal card and a room (if you don't have a truck), and you can get coupons for meals from your FM.

 

I got paid 100 for smith when I came in and did my upgrade after TNT

Then when I came in for the instructor class I got paid 100 again for the smith

 

Interesting... it's been sometime since I was on the company side.

Does prime inc. Have accounts / routes to nyc?
are prime inc trucks governed? At what speed??
