Dumb Question?

    Been talking to Kim..accepted to Roehl. Had my physical. ONLY med I take...as needed and rarely...is for migraines. Got my DOT card. Roehl said they need a waiver from my doc. Sent that in Wednesday.

    Friday, Jen at Roehl said their doc is reviewing.

    Question? Is this a big deal? Does it normally take a couple of days for their doc to review? Am I anxious for no reason?

    Depends on what you are taking, if it's fiorinol or similar it may be an issue. Check the list in the CFR

    The med is Imitrex. there's no codeine, etc involved. I don't see it listed as prohibited anywhere. I'm probably just being impatient

    Relax bud, it'll work out. I've been working on getting with them for about 2 weeks now due to past employers dragging out verification and my union not wanting to verify at all without my written permission to do so. Everything happens for a reason IMHO, so if it does not work out something better will come along.

    Just talked to Jen. Migraines aren't an issue. Just need some more releases from my doc...which happens to be the VA...which if you know about the VA, you know nothing is ever fast or easy!

    All worth it...and I appreciate Roehl's safety concern.

    Hopefully if I annoy my VA doc enough, she'll fax the info sooner rather than later lol

    Holy hell...the VA actually managed to get it done! I either caught them on a good day, or they got tired of my nagging. Hopefully I'll get a date this week!

    Updem, are you going in January? That's when I was planning on going.
