    Need ideas on specs: Wheelbase,Gears,Ratio etc....... Will be hauling 53ft. Reefer trailer. Thanks

    Attach didn't work whatever it was and I can't get red. Then super truckers will think I'm a slow crete or other Huge fleet slow trucker,LOL

    Go down to your Volvo dealer. They can tell you exactly what you will need based on whatever parameters you have. I've got a guy in Orlando that used to be a mechanic in the shop before he started selling them if you want. I've got a friend that is waiting on the new suspension to be released before he orders his new one. It should be any day now.
    238 seems pretty popular. I'd probably do the D13 with a direct drive iShift myself with the fast rears for a reefer set up. It's really your preference though. I'd go all discs as well for brakes, too. Yes I've though about it pretty hard after going to the Volvo Day and riding with my friend in an Ishift Volvo. I just don't want to work that hard to have a $2500 payment.

    If you can click on my name and read thread I posted 2 weeks ago on "truck Shopping" . Thanks for info. D13 been highly recommended so far, but with 13 speed. Thanks for your advice.

    I've driven a 13 speed for over a decade. The ishift is nice though.

    I heard it was but when i truck shopped all dealerships i went to said all brands not where they should be for fuel mileage considering auto. Was surprised. Mostly everyone i talked to said get speced for reefer with lower gears etc... with 13 speed and get higher torque. Hope to get a lot of responses on here so I can decide as in my years past i was company Driver and cared less about this stuff. LOL Just curious whats best for fuel and for best torque etc...... Hoping other Volvo owners chip in their thoughts. :)

    I went through the "Add Image" in there ^^^^ I can see it! Not sure why you can't.

    I wouldn't let that stop me, When I get one it will be a I-shift.
