Should make it clear that there is no pay and you are not an employee when you go through the school. Students can take a $200 loan per week to live on the road. It's paid back at $25/week deductions when you start getting paid.
after student gets CDL they are officially an employee and begin receiving the $600/week pay for training.
student = no CDL, no pay, not an employee
trainee = has CDL, $600/week, employee.Ga Dawg141 and 123456 Thank this. -
im starting at prime jan 21st and going to go through the school i can update you on how things go if you would like?

The prime recuiter told me that their trucks go 64 MPH. But we all know how they lie...
-
Mistaken is probably the case. Company is 62 cruise. 58 pedal. Lease is 65 and 62.

I have been in the work world a long tome and never seen so much negativity in a industry as I have seen in my time researching companies to work for in trucking.The sad thing is its the old Time drivers.Why would anyone want to talk negative and discourage new drivers from entering the Trucking career.If you all love Driving so much you would welcome Newbies to your field.

I'm happy to be a newbie going to Prime.
