    Hey everyone.

I'm 30 years old (male). I started my cdl school novemeber 1st and started range instruction last friday. Myself and three others tested out of the range yesterday and started road practice, which was just basically starting to learn shifting and tight turning in what was supposed to be either a neighborhood or shopping center but i guesse they ran out of money after they built the roads.

    Just wanted to introduce myself.

    Take care out there ya'll.

Lots of good companies to choose from. Pick a good one and make some money. Get that tanker/hazmat endorsement & TWIC for the good bucks. Many good companies aren't advertsed in CDL schools, but will hire new CDL graduates. Here's a few to look at.

    Superior-Carriers
    SVTN
    Schneider tanker division
    Navajo
    CTL - tanker/hazmat
    Melton Truck Lines
    Ozark Motor Lines
    TMC
    Boyd Bros.

Awesome. Thank you. I've gotten all my endorsements except hazmat as i have to go get the background check and pay (80ish?) dollars and get the letter back before i will be allowed to test.

    Thanks man.

    Welcome.

If i may offer a suggestion to you:
When you start driving for a compagny, keep a "diary".
I don't mean the the kind where you write your feelings down,:biggrin_2552:
but one where you write arrival/departure time, odometer and location.(if you switch trailers or cans on that location, write it also down)
That way you allways have something personal to keep tracks off things.
Something i was taught by my father.

Doesn't have to be on paper, you could do it on a Excel file on laptop or tablet.
