personally, I would have headed south southwest even more money better routes and better weather (smetimes)

 

Guessing he was probably asking if you had your IFTA stickers for your truck? VA & MD check that all the time, or use to. They will also ticket you if you do not have your letter in your truck from the IRS that comes with your stickers(make a copy for your files at the office as well).

 

See when we got into this business, the person whom trained me had said that you should look at it like this. The monies you make should be around like for a 3 CAR $3000. for a 4 car $4000.00 and so on and that is for the whole run. Looking at your amou ts I see that you will be earning $1865. Now, how long do you think this run will take you? Your sleeping arrangements? Food? Fuel? These are things that you can look t to see if this is a good run. Thats why I think i my experience a dispatcher is good to have so as to be looking for the best monies for you to make money. Im not sure what your cost are in regards to like any loans or such for equipment you use. But, one more thing I would like to give you input on, always make sure that you are putting monies back for that (in case) fund. For repairs, breakdowns, or etc.
Is your authority authorized already? Meaning is all processed and received a letter with MC number? Have your DOT number. EIN number? And yes I meant your IFTA sticker that goes on your truck. When you have all these numbers and go for IFTA sticker usually receive after the $5.00 fee. If you have any questions, I will be more than happy to help you in any way that is possible. You need to have jurisdiction to run in any other state other than your home state. You also need an ifta sticker. Dot will pull you rifgt in for not having an ifta sticker and give uou a big fine

 

You were emptying in Newark, NJ and going over to IAA in Yaphank, NY out on Long Island to P/U 3 correct? Do you realize that you have over $150 in bridge tolls alone to go to LI? Assuming you are 5 axle. Goethals Bridge or G. Wash. eastbound $85. Verrazano Br. $80 westbound or Throgs Neck $40 each way. = $165 in bridge tolls.
