Where did you see them take over whole rest areas? On the I10 near Blythe?
-
It was a minute ago but I was on a run from ny to tx can't remember exactly which state but it was more toward east
-
They were there yesterday too, i saw a bunch of local sheriffs too, almost seemedlike they were looking for someone/something, they were set up at e/b weighstation on the az side heading into ca
-
Wow so they were on the East bound side heading into AZ or just W/B heading into CA?
-
They're all over the South West since most undocumented people come from Mex. Just another PITA to deal with. BTW, they look for drugs too, not just people.

Homeland Security can set up a check point on any road within 100 miles of the border with Mexico or Canada. Lots of those checkpoints if you are traveling from say Laredo to San Diego, because much of the route is within 100 miles of the Mexico border. Usually it's just a quick, "Are you a US citizen?" and you are on your way. Some also have dogs sniffing the trailer. No big deal unless you have something to hide or are pulling an empty and forgot to check it at the last stop to make sure nobody decided to hitch a ride.

in new york state on highway 87 south bound at high peak rest area is a border patrol checkpoint, open 1-2 times a year
-
Does anyone know if the have checkpoints on the I40 in needles Eastbound entering Arizona?
-
All of your posts have been about where these Checkpoints are. Does it matter? If you have nothing to hide its just slow down say yes I'm a citizen and your on your way. You trying to hide something?
