Border patrol check points

    No, the only checkpoint is I40 westbound, once you enter California.

    What has you so worried? You do your job, keep your logbook and truck in good shape and you have nothing to worry about.

    they also like to work I40 across NM, have seen them W. of Albaturkey. Colorado occasionally will setup on I-70 as well.

    I once took the back way to san diego i1o to 78 s near the sand dunes and there was a temporary border control setup -- they asked if i was a citizen and then the officer actually stepped inside my truck after asking if i was carrying any illegal aliens...go figure
