I made contact with my tm yesterday and he assured me I'll get paid for the wait, thanks for looking out for me though hank.
As far as being busy on the coast. I guess that's why they're deadheading me from Anderson, SC to the Highlands terminal.

Been reading your Post and it's been very interesting! Have just applied and was told all that I'm waiting on is for the Terminal Manager to call me for an interview at the Ft.Worth terminal.I am going to try for a Company driver but would like to transfer over to an O/O if that is possible after a year or so.Would you guys recommend that? I have been a Freight Hauler for 17 years and will be knew to the Business.Any advice to make the transition easier and any Idea what a Maximum amount of money that can be made as an O/O and a Company Driver? Think I will try out the System driver part of it so that's the Money I want to know about and also the O/O money.Thank

As a system driver I'll make roughly $71-73,000.00 but your first year I would think $60-65,000 is doable if you stay out 2 weeks at a time. Ft Worth has a good record of system drivers who make really good money and have been there a long time. I can only speak on the company sode as I dont know much about the owner op side. I do know Ft Worth has 5 owner ops and roughly 32 company drivers.
system wise I try to stay east of the mississippi river and stay loaded between terminals. i sent a message to a contact i have in the corporate office to see if I can find you some more details on ft worth and owner ops stuff.
The terminal manager and coordinator out of that terminal do a great job helping me when Ive passed through a few times. -
How long have you worked for them fueltankhank ? I'm still waiting to find out if my company is renewing our contract if we don't I want to give Columbus OH a try. Can you make $1000/WK getting home on weekends?
-
I'm a new driver there now three months. I can only speak for myself, I run dedicated Mon thru Fri home everynight and it pays me $1,300.00 a week. You gotta work cause some days are rough but I really have no complaints
-
as a regional driver or local driver you can be home on weekends and make $1,000 per week. The issue will be if there is that type of work available at your location. I did find out last night A&R is at it's highest driver count in 4yrs and trucks are filling fast. Running the system you wont get home every weekend but you dont have to stay out that long. they can have you home by the 2nd weekend. thats what I do.

Thanks for that Reply FuelTank.Am excited to hear back from A&R.Is the business growing all over the Country or just in Certain states? Have alot of questions for you guys!! Just let me know when yall are ready for them and I will fire away

Ita growing all over. We're the biggest and best in the plastic drybulk industry with 25+ terminals and over 725 drivers. We haul 70+% of our shippers freight and we've had relationships with the big boys for over 35yrs (exxon, chevron, Dow, etc, etc) and they want us to do more and more business every day.

Well that's Exciting to hear that the Business is thriving! Would like to know how many times a week you Load and Unload yourself.I know that figures into the Pay.Think I read it was $30 each time.Is that still Correct? How hard is it to reach the Bonuses and what do u have to do to be under your Idle time to receive the Bonus?
