what would be a standard rate for going in after a tornado?

 

so no less than 2 a mile, where is that carved in stone? I hear guys say that all the time, and the majority of em might get 2.30 a mile going somewhere and get offered 1.75 going back with minimum deadhead, and turn it down. when 2.30 + 1.75 = 4.05 diided by 2 equals 2.025 a mile. or sit a week waiting on a 2 buck a mile load . and if ya ask if they know their operating cost the only answer is "I got to have 2 a mile"

 

well, if you can't make money in trucking. then why is everyone doing it?

granted there are different ways and different levels of income. but everyone is doing it. so there must be SOME money to be made.

i don't think YOU got to be where your at today. without driving a truck. YOU had to start someway, somehow.
