Was looking for some of the routes you drivers take to and from your regular stops. More so for the NE, but any are welcome. Which ones are better and which ones to avoid. Thanks

Where does the load originate? Milwaukee, Trenton, Eden, Atlanta? Northeast is bigger than it seems. To many customers to many routes to pick one.
cabjeepster Thanks this. -
I think Millis is working on routed dispatch with designated fuel stops. I like 81 to 84 whenever possible. All has to do with where u start from
cabjeepster Thanks this. -
I-78 to 287 isn't that bad...except for the sun in the morning will slow traffic down a lot...only place I ever experienced the sun affecting traffic.
cabjeepster Thanks this. -
I'm not even a driver yet. Just finished first week of school. Just thought some were more common than others.

Does anyone know how often Millis travels along the I24 and I65 through the Nashville, TN area?
-
Try I- 40 east bound in the morning!cabjeepster Thanks this.

I finished with Millis in September to pursue a local job, but when I attended the last trainers meeting Mike Millis said they were indeed working on designated routing/fuel stops. They had an experimental GPS the trainers were required to use with their students, as expected with any roll out of a new electronic device it was plagued with bugs, the first trip I let it plan tried to put my student and I on a 28t bridge, fortunately we were very cautious in planning that trip for just such variables. Further proof that nothing can be relied on indefinitely other than a written plan and a motor carrier atlas. My argument to Mike was, if u r going to hold drivers hands and keep the training wheels on, at least give them the correct training wheels for the bike!!
cabjeepster, stevenneill and MTownZ Thank this.
