Moving to another state.

Unless things have changed, this must be Illinois. I moved to South Dakota from Texas 10+ years ago, and it was just simple transfer. But that was before all the new federally-compliant rules (gold star on license. ) so hopefully someone else who's done a more recent transfer will speak up.

 

It is almost as though the federal government is discouraging people from wanting to move from one state to another.

 

No problem finding a local job with a foods service company such as Sysco or US Food Service or Greatwide & make the money you're looking for. Check those companies websites and also check Careerbuilder website.

I have a friend who drives for Pegesus and loves it. He lives in Louisville and I live right outside Louisville and see at least 10 of their trucks daily.

 

its just IL and NJ and i think either KY or Kansas. I forgot maybe some more.

 

Is ppl has to go thru all that redtape to transfer your cdl,then its all about revenue or making money for that DMV center.

 

its just illinoins because i moved to many different state with my cdl i just get it transfered easy i didn't have to take a road test i heard illinois started doing that after a truck hit a bus with student and kill a few kids they think truck drivers need to show that they are qualified for the cdl

 

AAA Cooper has a yard in Duncan. You might end up being a dockworker with a CDL running once or twice a week or you might run every day, it depends on the terminal. But you will gross over $1000 every week, even if you get no miles.
