Realistically, how often can expect to get home during the 40'000 mile training phase? I'm aware that there are many variables, wondering what others may have experienced, thanks.

when I train I usually stay out 4-6 weeks. It all depends where my Trainee lives. sometimes I stay out 6-8 weeks depends if I need to be home for a function so it all depends where you and trainer lives. Plus what you and trainer agree on.
Mikey60919 Thanks this. -
dude 40k miles? wow. id rather go to central. screw that
-
Yep, total of 40,000 miles, both drivers miles count toward total.
Upside, should be well trained by that time, but I don't wanna be out 4,6 weeks without going home some during that time, if only for a day. -
40,000 is total miles that truck rolls. not your miles all miles on truck. that usually takes 8-12 weeks. Like I said we are out 4-6 weeks most companies wont let you go home till you are out 4 weeks. you get 1 day for every 7 days out

randal02lee Thanks this.
-
yes but Central will still run under central name not swift
-
you need to really look into the mirror. 4-6 weeks is a norm when you are running solo also
-
Ahhh, no Swift for me, thanks.
