We have a few of them and from what I've heard, we're leaning towards going that route because of the fuel mileage. They brought a 680 test truck to the yard for the quad drivers to look at. It was a mid roof and I was able to stand up in it, so I wouldn't mind having one.

Slept through the chain law on Snoqualmie last night in North Bend and sleeping in Belgrade, MT for the night where it's a balmy 6℉. Will finish up the last 200 miles in the morning. I'll be picking up where I deliver, which means I get to unstrap and untarp and then strap and tarp again lol. I'm really hoping they have a place indoors to do it, if not, well then tomorrow is going to be a long day. Calling for a real bitter wind chill tomorrow, around -20℉ or lower with 20-30 mph winds. Really looking forward to that. Anyhow, that load will be going to Delta, BC for Friday morning.
jomar68 Thanks this. -

Weeble Kneeble Thanks this. -
hey WK! been a while since I've been on here, but I left Roehl Nov 4th, drove home, went hunting, got my mule deer, chilled at home for a few, enjoyed T-Day with the in-laws, and drove up here on Sunday to start orientation! So all tests are done and passed. What a effing fantastic company! I'm so excited to be here!! thanks for all your help the past couple months.
Weeble Kneeble and jomar68 Thank this. -
Oh, and speaking of the 680's... Yes, they're looking to eventually replace the fleet with them. Same weight, more interior room, better mpg than mid roof 660's. I drove one (the driver coach's truck) for the test drive. OMG it's so nice! The ergonomics, the power, the ride... ALL fantastic! I can't wait to drive another one!!
Stay on the roads out there!Weeble Kneeble Thanks this. -
That wasn't me going through the Tri Cities area, although it usually is. This week I'll be tearing up 90 with drywall. It's a balmier -9℉ with a wind chill of -23℉, it's gonna be a good day.
KF, glad to hear you've finally started. It's days like today where I wished I was slamming doors, but not all days are gonna be the bees knees. You gonna be doing Western 11+Canada?
Regarding the 680's, we just got a bunch of them in. Around 50 if I had to guess, there's a picture of them on our facebook page. I would like one for the quads because I really, REALLY miss being able to stand up in my truck.
Time to roll. -
The frig is kinda dissapoting but the spot for microwave n flat panel are nice I have a 24 on my mount
Weeble Kneeble Thanks this. -
As long as I can fit what I need for a week, and stand up, I'll be happy. My cooler fits in real nice in my current truck, but I'll make it fit if I have to in another one. The quads would only be mid roofs anyway.
I can see why it would be an issue for someone who does stay out longer with the condos. When I was with Wolding, I relied on it a lot. -
did ur comp order em with the frig n mount in them

All of the current trucks do not have fridges in them, I don't know about the 680's though.
After a communication break down on my dispatchers behalf, which she admitted to me voluntarily, I'm finally loaded. I'll be getting paid for detention time, as I got here at 1000 local and got unloaded but wasn't expected until tomorrow so my load wasn't ready. I'll be pulling the night shift until the weekend. It puts me crossing the border early in the morning on Friday, crossing back to Sumas to get loaded early in the morning, and to split sleeper to get home Friday. They don't want us to run nights but I talked my dispatcher into it.jomar68 Thanks this.
